Have kids?
No worries, we've got you covered.
St. Dunstan's offers children ministries for kids who are newborns through 5th grade.
We believe children's ministry is not just babysitting - it's an essential part of your child's formation as a disciple of Jesus Christ. At St. Dunstan's, we believe one of the primary tasks of any church is to raise up the next generation of leaders who will change the world for the Kingdom of God. We are all in at St. Dunstan's. From our Rector on down, everyone at St. Dunstan's is committed to prioritizing your child's spiritual formation and safety.
Children and youth of all ages, from newborns to high schoolers, are welcome to worship with us in the Sanctuary during either of our services. Can children be disruptive sometimes in the service? Sure. Is making sure your child feels welcomed, loved, and like an essential part of our worship as a church worth occasional disruptions? Absolutely. For the parents of children between 0 and 4 years old, if you would like to focus on worship more peacefully, we have volunteers to welcome your child to our nursery.
Between the services, there are Sunday School classes suitable for children of all ages. Newborns through middle schoolers have their own classrooms, and we encourage high schoolers to join us in the Sanctuary for our adult Sunday School class.
All child- and youth-serving staff and volunteers have undergone background checks and taken the appropriate training on Ministry Safe. Again, everyone at St. Dunstan's is committed to prioritizing your child's spiritual formation and safety first.
